Therefore, we’re seeking an organized, analytical, and innovative Lead HRIS Analyst to join our team and help oversee our HR systems initiatives. As the primary point of contact for our team’s reporting and analytical needs, you’ll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive operational improvements that optimize service levels and inform sound business decisions across Ginkgo.

In This Role, You Will
Act as a specialized techno-functional analyst and serve as the lead for assigned HR system projects and initiatives. Some key initiatives in the pipeline include: Workday Core HR and Payroll Implementation, Workday Recruiting, and an Immigration Portal.
Ensure our People processes are easy to use, easy to scale, and a source of value and satisfaction for all stakeholders.
Analyze, recommend, and configure process improvements and system enhancements to optimize our Workday investment.
Provide functional and technical support, identifying and troubleshooting system problems, testing system changes, and reviewing process improvement opportunities.
Develop, implement, and maintain user procedures, guidelines, and business processes documentation.
Participate in reviewing, planning, testing, and implementing system upgrades and patches.
Train HR and business users, including developing training materials, user procedures, guidelines, and documentation.
Develop and deliver reports, dashboards, and analytic solutions in response to people challenges and opportunities for the needs of the business/function and overall strategic direction of the company.
Deliver reports and analyze data for use in discussions with senior management, regarding critical topics such as attrition, recruiting, workforce planning and analytics, sourcing strategy, etc.
Ensure data integrity, including quality, accuracy, security, and usability of employee data and related interfaces, by implementing adequate processes, controls, and backup systems.
Maintain awareness of current trends in HR technology, as well as up-to-date statutory and regulatory requirements affecting HR, Benefits, Recruitment, and Payroll.

Who You Are
You have a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, HR, or Business.
You have 5+ years of successful HRIS experience as a functional/technical liaison, including a lead role in a functional area of end-to-end HRIS implementation.
You have strong working knowledge of Workday HCM functionality, configuration, and reporting.
You have advanced reporting capability and report writing experience, preferably using an ad hoc query tool, with a strong functional understanding of relational databases.
You have solid knowledge of human resources, with expertise in several functional areas (such as Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Talent Management, etc.).
You have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insight.
You are great at diagnosing problems, using your critical thinking skills to devise innovative solutions.
You have experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization.
You are a strong communicator (written and spoken) and are able to effectively collaborate with a wide range of people.
You have the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines, as well as take initiative, follow through on assignments, and accomplish goals.
You thrive in a high-growth/fast-paced environment and have prior experience in biotech/pharma.
You’re capable of maintaining strict confidentiality and exercising discretion with sensitive data.
